Why I Created the Potty Rockers™ Program

Potty Rockers™ was born out of some observations I'd made from interacting with other parents, along with personal experiences of potty training my own children, and business relations I had with creators of potty training related products.

Interactions with Other Parents

As a work-at-home mom, I get to earn an income while spending time with my son, so it allows me to interact with a lot of other parents. What I noticed in all the parenting discussions, was that potty training was the number one topic of discussion. Parents expressed many feelings of frustration, fear, and hopelessness when talking about potty training their children. Many parents, especially first-time parents, were at a loss for how to even go about potty training their child, while others were just frustrated with the whole process because they felt their attempts had been futile. With little success and a lot of stress, parents were turning to me, each other, and potty training products for help. I recall someone once saying, "If only I could just get some hands-on help..." But yet there wasn't anything out there available to parents that offered hands-on help. That's when Potty Rockers™ was born.

Potty Training My Own Children

Every parent goes through the potty training experience with their children. Those of us who are "lucky" get a child who quickly takes to the potty are despised by all other parents. And the rest of us...well, we secretly envy those parents and desperately seek help, fearing our child will be the only one left behind when Kindergarten starts.

As parents, we've heard it all -- all those myths spread by frustrated parents. I know I sure have! It adds to the stress, doesn't it? If you have a boy, do you really need to hear, "Boys are much harder to potty train than girls." What parents need is help -- hands-on help!

Potty Training Products

Have you done a search in Google lately for "potty training products"? You'll find an endless list of potty chairs, videos, CDs, books, advice, articles, etc. But, do they work? Are they helpful? Sure, they work for some children, but not all because every child is different. Sure, you just may get lucky and have a child that sees a potty training video and immediately takes to the potty. But what about the rest of us? I say, "Let's equip parents with proven potty training strategies, provide hands-on help, and get their children on that path to potty training success!"
