How to Prepare Your Child for Potty Training

Before you begin potty training, it's important that you prepare your child. This will lay the groundwork for potty training success. Here are a few tips to help you get your child ready for potty training:

• Talk to your child about other children who are using the potty.
• Allow your child to watch other children use the potty.
• Talk to your child about him using the potty.
• Take your child to the store and let him choose which potty he wants.
• Let him choose where he wants to keep his potty.
• Talk to your child about what the potty is for and what he will be doing with it.
• Take your child to the store and let him choose the underwear he wants.

For hands-on potty training help, register your child for a Potty Rockers™ class.
